About Virtual Innovative Opportunities (ViO)

ViO is a virtual business solutions firm and consulting company based in Central Florida. ViO was formed in April 2007 by two entrepreneurs who saw a need to provide network marketing and community building services for business to get more value in the virtual world. With expertise community-building, and networked with expert in-world solution providers, the ViO brand quickly became unmatched in Second Life® as a business community, and as a service provider.

In-world, ViO is a collaborative business incubator bringing together virtual world and real world companies to work together to accomplish their goals. ViO is also the name of the Business Sim or island in the virtual world of Second Life® developed to serve as a resource for the real world and in-world business communities. Because ViO reduces the learning curve for companies bringing their business into the virtual world, we have attracted companies such as Fedex, Oracle, Saatchi & Saatchi X, Camenae Group, Schneider Electric, Jones Walker and more, as well as some of the leading in-world companies. ViO is a social networking platform for businesses in the virtual world (3-D web). We facilitate communication in-world with Business Groups like Vio Business, Virtual Business Academy, and Virtual World Business Bureau. We expand the conversation and reach for our network members through web-based social networking sites. Most importantly, we provide a content-rich platform for virtual business education and networking through the weekly in-world ViO events.

ViO provides immersive work and meeting spaces in the virtual world to support business solutions. ViO Business Sims provides virtual office space, skyboxes for added security and privacy, support for slide shows and video presentations, an auditorium and a virtual expo center. Custom services are provided to companies to provide a virtual presence that fits their needs and expresses their desired functionality and style.

Purpose

The purpose of the in-world community is to provide communication/education/social networking tools for out-world and in-world businesses and organizations. Virtual meeting space is becoming a popular money-saving alternative for companies wanting to reduce their travel expenses. The ViO network of businesses provides many solutions-providers for every company considering a virtual presence. ViO supports all type of businesses, but especially loves to be a resource for businesses that are green and eco-friendly. Just by its nature, virtual business solutions, are "green" solutions.

Principals

Tony Coolidge (SL Name: Xander Newman) - Click for e-mail - Tony Coolidge has been an established leader in marketing, PR and community-building wince 1995. Tony graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising & Marketing in 1992. He has been a web technology specialist and consultant since 2005, who has a well-rounded skill set including web design, web programming, web marketing and search engine optimization. In 1999, he co-founded a B2C Internet auction company that became publicly trading on AMEX in 2001. He continued to sharpen his entrepreneurial and organizational skills by forming two non-profit organizations, including Katrina's Angels, the largest volunteer non-profit and housing database available to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Tony ventured into the virtual world of Second Life® to provide new marketing opportunities to his Internet clients, and in doing so, co-founded ViO, one of the most dynamic virtual business communities and collaborative business incubators in the virtual world.

Howard Odor (SL Name: Blaine Seiling) - Click for e-mail - Howard has been an entrepreneur and business owner his entire life. In the past 5 years, Howard has been involved in five major transformational communications, public speaking, and wealth building companies. This has opened the doors to large networks of investors and resources. As co-founder and Executive Vice President of an international consulting group, China Business Developers, Howard Odor and his partners are supporting the "Green Movement" in business internationally. They are providing financial, communication and marketing resources for companies providing "Green" solutions for clean waste processing, energy production, transportation, and building. The group is also provides companies access to overseas markets and is currently developing an international consortium to bring foreign development to Shenyang China. As a public speaker, Howard Odor saw great potential in the virtual world as a global platform for public speakers, so he chose to be a co-founder of ViO.
